Backlift

What is back lift surgery?

Back lift surgery, also known as an upper back lift or bra line back lift, is a cosmetic surgical procedure that aims to remove excess skin and fat from the upper and mid-back region. The surgery is typically performed on patients who have lost a significant amount of weight or who have loose, sagging skin due to aging or genetics.

During the procedure, an incision is made along the bra line, and excess skin and fat are removed. The remaining skin is then pulled tight and sutured in place, resulting in a smoother, more toned appearance of the back.

Lower back lift surgery, also known as a belt lipectomy or circumferential body lift, is a surgical procedure that aims to remove excess skin and fat from the lower back, flanks, and abdomen, while also tightening the underlying muscles.

The procedure is typically performed on patients who have lost a significant amount of weight or who have loose, sagging skin due to aging or genetics. The surgery involves making an incision around the waistline, from hip to hip, and removing excess skin and fat from the lower back, flanks, and abdomen.

The remaining skin is then pulled tight and sutured in place, resulting in a smoother, more toned appearance of the lower back and abdomen. In addition to removing excess skin and fat, the procedure can also help to improve the appearance of stretch marks and cellulite in the treated area.

Back lift surgery is a major surgical procedure that should only be performed by a qualified and experienced plastic surgeon. As with any surgery, there are risks involved, including bleeding, infection, and adverse reactions to anesthesia. Recovery time can vary depending on the extent of the surgery, but most patients are able to return to normal activities within four to six weeks.
